Scholarship Description: A priority of the IADR Strategic Plan is to promote oral health research worldwide, with specific emphasis on assisting regions with less developed research programs, including Regions that may have developed and less developed Divisions/Sections within. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify projects, submitted by IADR Divisions/Sections that would help initiate research and development or otherwise strengthen the oral health research infrastructure in developing regions. Although it is desirable to encourage the development of a research infrastructure in as many developing regions as possible, consideration will be given to supporting ongoing initiatives that have demonstrated an ability to promote research development. Where appropriate, regional coalitions of Divisions are encouraged to join together to submit proposals and implement programs. Wherever possible, the use of matching funds to enhance the effort is encouraged.
