Job responsibilities:
• Direct China group wide HR operations ensuring delivery of services in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Develop Strategies and Plans that contribute to the Group Business Planning & Objectives from a HR perspective
• Be the front line interface and control point of HR to designated businesses as well as participate as member of the senior management team as HR representative ensuring HR related issues are taken into account in decision-making.
• Educate and coach managers regarding people policies and practices, monitor people management practices and provide calibration across functions, working as a partner to proactively provide the tools, knowledge and assistance which facilitates excellent people management within the company.
• Contribute to organisational initiatives and change programs and in particular assist in the co-ordination of support to the various businesses.
• Development and continuous review of specific Business Support policies and provision of input to all other HR policies. Provide interpretation and advice on all HR policies to promote consistent application.
• Scan the external environment with regard to legal developments and best practices with a view to identifying requirements and the development of customized solutions to the site.
• Actively promote people management philosophy, policies, strategies and practices in the various functions & workgroups.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on the legal & HR implications of management decisions.
• Direct Performance Review Management Process across the group.
• Ensure effective succession/manpower plan in place for each company in conjunction with local HR Managers.
• Direct and report on staff turnover across the business ensuring there are KPI’s in place across the group to improve and maintain a healthy percentage.
• Promote and ensure effective use of communication processes/mechanisms and provide proactive input for improvement of it.
• Develop management capability to ensure Compensation & Reward systems and practices are understood and adhered to, and that the Job Opportunity Policy is applied in a fair and consistent manner.
• Development and implementation of group wide HR policies and procedures in conjunction with HR Managers.
Person specification:
• Bachelors degree in business related field; advanced degree preferred
• Several years of experience managing a human resources function and staff
• Experience of driving recruitment and training in a sales driven organization is ideal
• Experience within the recruitment industry, particularly online recruitment is a distinct advantage
• Fluency in written and verbal Mandarin is an advantage
• Comprehensive human resources generalist knowledge including compliance, recruiting, benefits and compensation, performance management, training and development, and employee relations
• Extensive organizational development experience in a rapidly growing organization
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines; hands-on approach to getting things done.
• Shows a high degree of common sense, customers focus and results orientation.
• Strong leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who leads and manages based on personal integrity, knowledge of business and facts.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong ability to work in high-pressure situations, and excellent business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage in a rapidly-changing environment
• Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with strong time and project management skills
