Looking for
experienced laboratory assista
nts to work morning and afternoon shifts for a
market leading food manufacturer.
One of Australia’s largest food & beverage companies, producing over $4
billion worth of products across Australia and New Zealand. A high energy,
passionate organisation producing some of Australia’s favourite and most
well-known brands.
Due to extensive investment and increased demand we are currently looking to
recruit four experienced laboratory assistants to work on the morning or
afternoon shifts. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for
ensuring product meets the established standards of quality including
reliability, usability and performance. You will conduct testing in accordance
with all required standards including HACCP, Food Standards Code, Export
Requirements and Customer Standards.
The ideal candidate will hold a Microbiology, Biomedical or Chemical Degree
(Food Science on its own will not be sufficient) and have extensive practical
laboratory experience within a food manufacturer. You will have a strong Root
Cause Analysis background and have extensive Microbiological, Biomedical or
Chemical testing experience. You will have sound knowledge of SQF, YUM, AQIS
and Dairy Standards. Strong MS Office skills are essential in the role.
The shifts are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm and you will be required to work five
out of the seven days in the week.
