Market Sales (Part time)

Weekends – Saturdays an
d some Sundays
Pay: $13/hr
Duration: May 9th – Aug26th with possibility of extension into December
Hamro Village Inc. is a member of Fair Trade Federation and works
directly with artisans in Nepal.
We are currently seeking 1 individual to join our sales team. The
position is for Evergreen Brickworks Market in Toronto. The individual
will be working Saturdays, 7:30 -2pm.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maximizing sales
• Transporting goods and setting up the table for sale (drivers’
license, vehicle required)
• Learning and talking about Fair Trade and the ‘who’, ‘what’ and
‘where’ of our products comes from
• Handling cash, visa, and debit transactions
Skills Required:
• Retail experience selling
• A dynamic and vibrant personality
• To be able to lift 40 lbs and carry materials and displays
• Adaptability–the individual adapts to changes in the work setting
