GVEP Business Mentor for Renewable Energy Enterprises Job Vacancy in Kigali, Rwanda

GVEP, The Global
Village Energy Partnership, is an international NGO that supports the growth of
energy-focused micro, small and medium sized enterprises, as a means to drive
economic prosperity and contribute to energy access in a way that is inclusive
of people living in poverty. A key element of this work is to link the
energy businesses that we support to loan products and other finance.

GVEP works closely
with the Energy Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA) and funders such as the
World Bank and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)
to manage multi-country programmes to improve access to finance for renewable
energy enterprises. Furthermore, GVEP is embarking on a new project to
introduce innovative solar lighting systems in Rwanda with funding from USAID.

In Rwanda, these
projects are focused on solar lighting and phone charging solutions, as well as
pico-hydropower installations. As a result of the company’s growth in Rwanda,
GVEP seeks to strengthen its team.
