Agricultural Construction Company is looking for a greenhouse technician.
The person must have the ability to construct/install greenhouses, maintain, and repair
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or related field, and two years of practical work experience in a greenhouse environment.
• Knowledge of greenhouse operation and management including installation of greenhouse facilities, maintenance, repair, ventilation, irrigation.
• Sale and market greenhouses, irrigation and other agricultural production equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective communications and working relationships with workmates and the general public as required.
• Knowledge of greenhouse plant materials, including watering, pruning, propagation, testing, and pest management an added advantage
• Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of this job, including heavy lifting.
• Supervisory skills a must.
