Graduate Scheme Programme In London at Retalix

Salary: Between £20,000 and £24,000
Location: The UK Head Office is in Stevenage and you will be based here for general training, however, your work place will be defined at each stage of your rotation throughout the two year Graduate Scheme Programme. Meaning you will be required to relocate and work at any Retalix or Client location throughout the UK

The role will provide the successful candidate with huge exposure and personal development and will involve being trained as a Junior Business Analyst, a Junior Technical Support Analyst or Junior Software Designer with all the benefits a global company has to offer.

In addition you will have a two year personal development plan which will include general business training and high level exposure such as attending board level meetings with the Managing Director, shadowing other senior managers, spending time on key accounts and working closely with both the sales and technical side of the business.

Business Analyst
Business Analysts are an essential role within Retalix as they work closely with our clients to establish business system requirements, translating these requirements into appropriate design specification documents for the relevant Retalix and client teams ensuring the solution is robust, deliverable and the scope is clearly defined. Our ability to build and maintain relationships with clients to interpret their needs into realistic, achievable solutions really sets us apart.

Your Role
As a trainee Business Analyst you will work on a client’s site with an existing member of the team as your mentor, as part of a Retalix team. You will gain valuable exposure to different projects within a project lifecycle whilst learning how grocery stores operate and what the basic functions and processes provided by each sub system of a store solution. Working on small to medium size design tasks with analysis and design methodology and interpreting specific and detailed instructions about assignments.

Technical Support Analyst
Our Technical Support Analysts are both frontline and telephone support providing technical support and advice so that operational problems and queries are diagnosed and resolved as quickly as possible to the client’s satisfaction. This involves relationship building both within the client site for credibility but also with the technical team in Israel to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Your Role
This would see you based on a client site and within the remote support team working closely with specific clients, learning the skills necessary from your mentor to understand the systems in place, the processes and procedures internally and with the client and building the diagnosis skills necessary to fulfil the role. This will involve working closely with the Retalix and client project teams throughout the full life cycle of the project using relevant methodology and documentation.

Designer
Our world class design team underpins the robust software solutions we create for our clients, as they work hand in hand with all the teams within Retalix delivering the solutions the Business Analysts and Technical Support Analysts have identified as either new requirements or fixes to existing issues. To maintain this world class service continuous development and training is given both in the UK and Israel.

Your Role
A role within this stream would see you working closely with all the teams within Retalix, being mentored by an existing Designer on a client site. Working on different elements of the project lifecycle to understand the Retalix systems and interpreting the requirements of the client into robust system changes and implementation. A strong technical background/understanding is required for this role.

Qualifications:
• Attained a 2:1 at Degree level from any discipline; those who demonstrate a keen interest in technology will have a distinct advantage
• Minimum of 280 ucas points

Experience:
• Excellent IT skills: competency in using MS Office products
• Previous experience within the retail industry would be desirable.
