Job Description
Main
duties and Responsabilities: -Coordinate, at first degree, the planning,
budgeting, resource mobilization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
reporting related to construction permitting at the team level; -Coordinate,
at first degree, the elaboration of a local strategy on construction
permitting, monitor its implementation across the District and produce
consolidated reports thereof; -Co-sign and issue out construction and house
occupation permits and other related authorization stipulated by applicable
laws and regulations and coordinate land-related dispute settlement process;
-Supervise, at first degree, all staff members of the Land Management Team
and their field deployment; -Assist technically and provide advice to the
Director of One Stop Centre in matters pertaining to construction permitting;
-Initiate, in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders, and supervise
the implementation of campaigns meant to raise local population awareness on
the benefits to secure construction permits for better settlement planning.
Job Profile
Bachelor’s
Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Urban Management, Civil Engineering,
Construction, Public Works with at least 2 years of working experience; Key
Technical Skills & Knowledge required: -Extensive Knowledge in
Construction Permitting -Organizational Skills; -Communication Skills;
-Judgment & Decision Making Skills; -Time management Skills; -Team
working Skills; -Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of
all is an advantage
