Senior Data Analyst/IT Specialist:
Our Client is recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst/IT Specialist who can work in an innovative and fast-paced environment with a very senior team of J2EE software developers and Database experts to develop large scale mobile asset management solutions.
Job Requirements:
SQL Server
5+ years administration of Microsoft SQL 2005 in a high transaction 24*7 environment.
Strong database design and analysis skills
Data analysis experience
T-SQL, stored procedures development
Firm understanding of performance, tuning, indexing etc
Networking
Windows Server 2003 administration (DNS, DHCP)
Responsible for building, deploying and administration of servers and the implementation of new systems and existing systems.
Hands-on experience working with Network infrastructure – VPN, Firewall, Switches & Routers, TCP/IP (DNS, DHCP), VLANs
Maintain storage solutions based on directly attached RAID storage, as well as iSCSI/SAN storage.
Maintain documentation of systems configurations and procedures.
Linux experience desirable (but not essential)
Reviews log files and other server monitoring data for problems.
Application Development
Experience in Java application development environment desirable
Support Java development teams (e.g. specification requirements, test plans test environments)
Actively participate as a key member of the development management team
Provide recommendations on application process improvements
Skills, Abilities, Attitude and Education
Graduate in Software Engineering or equivalent
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present data
High degree of innovation and creativity
Mindset of Continuous Improvement
