Due to significant
growth across our Care & Justice and Secure Solutions businesses, we
currently require an experienced Recruitment Consultant to support our Senior
Consultant’s on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.

Reporting directly
in to the General Manager of Human Resources, the Recruitment Consultant will
be responsible for assisting in end to end, high volume recruitment on a
National level.   

Role
Responsibility  
       

  • Point
    of contact for the Recruitment Department ensuring any queries are dealt
    with in a timely manner
  • Raising
    vacancies in the in-house recruitment system and assisting the Senior
    Consultant/s with writing and posting web advertisements
  • High
    volume of resourcing for candidates Nationally, which includes telephone
    screening all shortlisted candidates
  • Providing
    the Senior Recruitment Consultant/s with shortlists of applicants
  • Scheduling
    and confirming individual interviews as well as coordinating group
    interviews and information sessions
  • Booking
    candidates in for any medicals, psychometric testing or additional tests
    required for the role
  • Assisting
    in face to face interviews where Senior Consultant/s are unable
  • Conducting
    candidates 100 point ID checks and verifying candidates Right to Work in
    Australia
  • High
    volume of reference checks and compliance checks
  • Issuing
    Employment Contracts and Payroll Paperwork
  • Working
    with various Contract Managers in creating and maintaining new employee
    files
  • Checking
    payroll paperwork is correct and collated before delivering to payroll
  • Working
    with the Learning and Development department in setting up new employees
    with initial and ongoing training requirements

The Ideal
Candidate

In order to carry
out the position successfully you will possess the following skills,
qualifications and
experience:                                   

  • Minimum
    12 Months Recruitment Agency experience- this position would suit someone
    who has worked on a high volume, temp/contract recruitment desk.
  • Minimum
    Diploma level qualification in Business or HR discipline
  • Demonstrated
    experience working in a very busy, highly pressurized environment is
    essential to succeeding in this role
  • High
    level of integrity and respect for confidential information
  • Mature
    minded individual with exceptional communication skills
  • Demonstrated
    ability to organize and prioritize your workload
  • High
    attention to detail, good numeracy and literacy skills, and a proactive
    working nature
  • Intermediate
    Microsoft Office skills in particular Word and Excel
  • Ability
    to work autonomously and as part of a team
