Me to We is seeking
an Inventory
Manager to manage the inventory related operations of the
Consumer Engagement team. This role oversees an Inventory Coordinator and Part
– Time Staff. The Inventory Manager of Consumer Engagement will report directly
into the Associate Director of Consumer Engagement.
A minimum two-year
commitment is expected. There is a three (3) month probationary period, upon
reaching the three (3) month period, all staff members are offered a health
plan including dental and Employee Assistance Program. The position is based
out of Me to We’s office in Toronto (225 Carlton Street).

Responsibilities:
Logistics/Inventory
Management
- Oversee
and manage all inventory including products, print materials, tags and all
other materials required to have products ready for market - Work
with the Inventory Coordinator to ensure systematic and seamless inventory
management processes are in place - Create
all purchase orders (forecasting) made and ensure alignment with
pre-allocated budget - Ensure
inventory levels throughout all warehouses are correct and monitor sales
to create proper replenishment programs throughout the year – this
includes regular inventory checks, creating and analyzing sales reports
and inventory counts throughout all sales channels - Work
closely with the Sales Team and Operations Team to ensure stock levels are
always available to fulfil all orders and purchase orders are placed in a
timely manner - Ensure
all stock transfers are accurate and all different sales channels are
always stocked – proper inventory allocation between channels
Other/
Project Management
- Actively
involved in Artisans accessory design trip preparation seasonally - Preparing
analysis of sales to help guide the design team, including analysis from
wholesale accounts such as Nordstrom, PacSun and Holt Renfrew - Preparing
analysis of sales to guide the executive team in their choices for
internal channels - Product
launches and fulfillment – work with Product and Marketing Manager and the
Kenyan Production Team to plan the launch dates of new products and
releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan,
alongside the Director - Support
international team in managing production including providing accurate
reporting and realistic timelines - Working
closely the Kenyan team on input procurement, sourcing and production - Coordinates
distribution of products through international offices - Streamline
all current systems, technologies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
related to Inventory Management - Supervise
the product launches to ensure flawless presentation of our new season
products on the website and store
Team
Management
- Lead
weekly check-in’s with the Inventory Coordinator to review the past week’s
performance, set goals and other action items for the week - Manage
and provide quality control of inventory management and product allocation
and replenishment program - Focus
on staff coaching and development - Create
and deliver staff performance evaluations to senior management
Skills and
Qualifications:
