Me to We is seeking an Associate Director of Retail
and Corporate Partnerships
. The Associate Director sets the
pace and provides clarification on all tactical engagement initiative designed
to manage current retail partners and acquire new retail partnerships. The
Associate Director of Retail and Corporate Partnerships should have sales experience
as well as the ability to manage a sales team.

The position is
based out of Free The Children’s International office in Toronto (233 Carlton
Street). A minimum three-year commitment is expected. Salary is to be
discussed. There is a three (3) month probationary period, upon reaching the
three (3) month period, all staff members are offered a health plan including
dental and Employee Assistant Program.

Responsibilities:
Business
Development and Relationship Management (60%)

  • Work
    aggressively to retain existing business and develop new business through
    prospecting and proactive sales and marketing activities. Accounts under
    Consumer Engagement include Nordstrom USA/Canada, PacSun, Staples, Holt
    Renfrew and many more!
  • Build
    relationships and be responsible for a portfolio of retail partners in
    addition to supporting the team’s development of account portfolios
  • Prepare
    and host engagement presentations, meet with retail partners, liaise on
    the phone/ via email and at events such as We Day
  • Develop
    and rollout distribution strategy to meet changing needs and new
    requirements
  • Reporting
    weekly to the Director of Consumer Engagement on current revenue goals,
    flagging any challenges and providing clear forecasting on upcoming sales
    based on current pipeline
  • Communicate
    regularly to the executive team

Strategy
(20%)

  • Work
    alongside the Director of Consumer Engagement to guide strategy and
    overall vision for growth
  • Create
    an annual revenue strategy focused on aggressive growth
  • Evaluating
    aligning the executive team’s priorities with Consumer Engagement’s Retail
    Partnership priorities on a regular basis
  • Identify
    and secure new partnerships in Canada, US and the UK
  • Develop
    presentations and proposals to secure new partnerships
  • Deliver
    in person presentations with prospective retail partners to secure new
    partnerships
  • Travel
    to meetings within Canada and the US is an expectation
  • Provide
    seasonal feedback on product assortment and sales strategy
  • Working
    alongside peers in Me to We and Free The Children to cross promote
    opportunities to ensure goals are met

Performance
Management (20%)

  • Responsible
    for working alongside and driving performance of the wholesale retail
    partnership team through senior leadership, including driving priorities
    related to strategy, performing regular follow up meetings and ensuring
    deadlines and priorities are met within the team
  • Coach
    and mentor and dynamic team that handles retail partnerships in Canada, US
    and the UK
  • Managing
    and re-organizing team priorities to ensure alignment with organization
    wide priorities
  • Holding
    team accountable to revenue goals and guiding solutions to ensure success

Key
Priorities:

  1. Driving
    Revenue

    vision goals and drive activities to reach department and organizational
    goals
  3. Providing
    superior customer service to all stakeholders (internal and external)

Skills and
Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    5 years in retail or sales management
  • Bachelor’s
    degree or commensurate experience
  • Comfortable
    working with and delegating to senior management
  • Proven
    ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external
    stakeholders and team members
  • Entrepreneurial,
    independent, a strategic thinker
  • Enjoys
    working in a demanding, face paced work environment and flexible with work
    hours
  • Excellent
    time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient
    in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience
    working with Salesforce is an asset
