Turtle Conservation Project
Type: volunteer with free board, lodging, monthly spending allowance (see

Location: Phra Thong Island, Thailand, Southeast Asia

This sea turtle conservation project has been running since 1996 with
the help of many volunteers from all over the world. It is looking for
Field Leader’s for the following periods: 15 November – 20 December
2014; 14 December – 8 February 2015; or 3 February – 30 March 2015.

Main tasks and responsibilities: manage the project team; supervision
and leadership of the team (group of international volunteers);
coordinating volunteer arrivals and departures, weekly project
schedule; coordinate project activities and project local logistic;
responsible for completion of all project tasks with the team by
following existing methodology; managing project finances in the field
(daily basic accounting, making local payments, managing merchandise
sales, etc); liaise with local people and other organizations.
Field Leader’s receive free board and lodging for the duration of
their stay plus a small monthly spending allowance (8,000 Thai Baht
per month).
