Accountant – Property
Tax (Valuation experience)
Scotts
(Central/South)
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with IRAS on matters under
the Property Tax Act and comply with statutory time limits - Analyse the reasonableness of
assessments, and handle e-Objections, VRB and High Court appeals - Possess working knowledge of
recognised methods of appraisals - Handle matters pertaining to s8
Property Tax Act (Refund on unoccupied buildings), including e-Filing for
vacancy claims - Handle historical transactions
from Reallink - Liaise with auditors and other
professionals on property tax matters - Assist the Department Head in
assignments and projects at the department or any other ad hoc assignments
Requirements:
- Degree with minimum 3 years’
relevant experience handling Real Estate Property Tax or work as a Valuer - Good interpersonal skills
- Good supervisory skills and has
the ability to motivate staff - Has strong analytical and decision
making skills - Have good working knowledge of
Microsoft excel, Powerpoint & Word - Possess good working knowledge of
Decisions of the VRB and High Court
