Engineer (Civil Utilities)
Top tier client who
is a highly regarded and reputable civil construction company working civil
infrastructure projects that include utilities, rail, roads and earthworks
projects. With a clear growth strategy in place coupled with a range of
projects in progress and in the pipeline, they are now looking to recruit a
project engineer with strong experience on water, waste water and sewer
projects
The duties and responsibilities for this project
engineer role will include:
• Managing sub-contractors and co-ordinating works on site
• Ensuring safety and environmental compliance
• Project commissioning and maintenance
• Working closely with the client
• Co-ordinating design and construction
• Project procurement and maintaining supplier relationships
• Ensuring projects run to program and contracts administration
The requirements for
this project
engineer role include:
• Tertiary qualified in construction management, mechanical or electrical
engineering
• Need to have strong knowledge on water or energy projects
• Solid work experience within the civil construction industry with capacity to
learn and develop further
• Need a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in engineering role within
civil utilities
• Highly energetic self-starter looking for long term career progression
• Strong planning, organisational and negotiation skills required
• Need to have worked on Sydney water projects or water projects interstate
Remuneration will vary on previous experience ranging from $110-120k &
superannuation
