Evergreen is a charity that inspires action to green cities. Evergreen
strives to solve pressing urban environmental issues by bringing
people together, inspiring them with possibilities and engaging them
in identifying solutions and taking action.
Overview: This key opportunity for a motivated individual will help
implement and support a variety of Evergreen CityWorks projects
focusing on urban sustainability, citizen engagement, and municipal
and regional policy issues.
Key Responsib
ilities:
• Supports the development and execution of projects including events
and conferences, collaborative partnerships, citizen engagement
efforts, urban revitalization, research and other initiatives as
assigned
• Helps build relationships with external parties to collaborate on
the planning, funding and delivery of selected projects
• Provide communications team with project information as required;
support the development of promotional materials
• Develops and implements systems for tracking project deliverables and
outcomes
• Tracks expenses and manage project budgets
• Support program fundraising, including contributions to grant
proposals and reports
• Represent Evergreen at public events related to the CityWorks portfolio
• Supervise interns and volunteers as required

Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience
• Proven project management skills and ability to put ideas into action
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; active user
of social media
• Experience developing and facilitating workshops and outreach
activities to diverse audiences
• Computer literacy and fluency with Microsoft Office required
• Familiarity with Evergreen’s work and mission
• Valid drivers’ license preferred
Terms:
• This is a full-time permanent position
Working conditions:
• Evening or weekend work will be required on occasion.
• Ability to travel periodically
