A pioneering and expanding Energy and Carbon consultancy based in Cardiff currently have an excellent opportunity for an Energy Manager/ Consultant to join their team. You will manage and deliver energy management solutions to a range of clients in the corporate and SME market in a role that will involve cost and carbon analysis, bill validation, energy reporting and energy / environmental training.
* Qualification- candidates for this role will hold a relevant academic background, ideally with an engineering or energy discipline, and hold membership of the Energy Institute or similar. A full clean driving licence is a requirement of the role.
* Location- Cardiff, commutable from Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Bridgend, Newport, SOUTH WALES
* Experience- previous energy management consultancy experience, with demonstrable experience gained working in the industrial / commercial sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding and working knowledge of the following; Utilities market, energy procurement and contract types, energy infrastructure and metering, energy certification and CRC.
* Salary- £26-32,000 plus benefits

Duties Include:
– Providing overall energy management technical advice
– Energy procurement advice and services
– Bill validation
– Energy surveying, assessments and metering
– Energy awareness training
– Staff management and mentoring
– Energy modelling and data analysis
– Providing clients with detailed energy legislation advice including CRC and energy certification
