ELI offers volunteer projects in
schools in t
he Iganga district of Uganda. Based in Iganga Town, projects are
only 3 hours from the capital, Kampala, and offer the unforgettable experience
of living a small-town Ugandan life.The schools generally work with children
from less privileged backgrounds who cannot afford school fees or uniform fees.
Volunteer teachers have the opportunity to assist these children in getting a
real and valuable education while the teacher develops skills with lesson plans
and working in less advantaged schools

Accommodation: All participants
stay with local host families and are provided with 2 meals a day.

Program Duration: All programs
require at least a 2 week time commitment.
