Education Finance Officer Job Vacancy in Kigali, Rwanda

to recruit 1 qualified, competent and proactive staff for the following
position:

JOB TITLE:
Education Finance Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

a. Minimum
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor
    Degree preferably in Business, Accounting, Economics and or Management.
  • 2-4
    years banking experience in Lending/credit department, Managerial
    position with at least 1 year in team management.
  • Practical
    experience with educational financing and OR having been a teacher is an
    added advantage.
  • Strong
    knowledge of the education environment.
  • Knowledge
    and experience in lending, credit and risk management
  • An
    understanding of related statutory and regulatory banking Compliance
    regulations.

b. Knowledge and skills

  • Lending/credit
    management, human resources, and profitability  and cost management
    gained from a financial, banking and or  micro lending
    background
  • Experience,
    knowledge and training in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis
    or related areas
  • Knowledge
    of local Banking Act, Financial Services Act, central bank banking
    compliance regulations, banking and Business Law, local employment and
    labor Laws, bank operational policies procedures, and Individual and
    Micro lending products and services.
  • Ability
    to conceptualise and formulate a business strategy,
    including     marketing strategy, business
    objectives and a budget. 
  • Intermediate
    skills in computer operations, including emerge
    systems    and personal computer orientation.
  • Broad
    knowledge of the Rwandan education sector, players in the
    market.
