Do you possess an uncanny interest in Toronto, the arts, technology and interacting with people?
Then we have some great news for you! EcoCab, Toronto’s free and fuel free, peddle powered taxi service is launching EcoCab Tours and we are looking for some talented people to join our team.
EcoCab is now hiring for outgoing, fit and knowledgeable people who are passionate about the city, people and love cycling. As part of the Driver-Guide team, you will be responsible for moving commuters, free of charge in the downtown Toronto and interacting with your riders while on route.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a tour guide or promotional representative
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High level of physical fitness, ability to cycle for extended periods of time
• Self-motivated, responsible, energetic and outgoing
• Passionate about the city of Toronto and its stories
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license (G1 is acceptable)
• You will be required to complete a Police Background check and present a Drivers Abstract
Required Availability:
June 6th to 20th inclusive and 5 days per week following that until the end of the summer.
Compensation:
$12.50/hr plus tips
Training and a uniform will be provided
