Compile selected list of bidders with Client, Compile an disuse addenda, if
necessary tabulate bid results and participate in contract bid negotiations,
assist Client in the preparation of the construction contract, Interpret the
intent of contract drawings and specification for the client, General
Contractor, building inspector, and the other interested parties, review all
requests for modifications of the contract drawings and specifications, whether
initiative by Client or Contractors, Review and approve all change estimates,
prepare and sign all change orders, Consult with Technical team on all
modifications and design changes, Review and approval Contractor monthly
requisitions for payment, including requisitions for financial payment, Oversee
the preparation and distribution of Clients operation and maintenance manuals
and record drawings, analyse the project scope, organise the work on the
project and set forth the procedures to be employed in
accomplishing the project, Develop and monitor the construction budget and
schedule, Identify long lead items and proposed form of construction contract
as easily as possible, Administer the design budget, Notify the client of
changes in project scope, and prepare estimates for additional design fees,
develop and motor the project design schedule to meet Client and form time
objectives, Perform independent review of all engineering drawings and
specifications for completeness, correctness and coordination, Review
preliminary construction estimates, Determine what codes and regulations are
applicable to the project, determine what permits, licences and authorisations
will be required and how each is to be secured, Consult with all appropriate
Public Authorities where necessary and determine that their observations and
inputs have been secured prior to commencing construction phase where appropriate,
Represent institution in public meetings related to
projects,
Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related
field, registered Professional Engineer, Experience in roadway structure
construction inspection, experience in urban planning, Experience in right of
way acquisition and utility coordination, Knowledgeable of construction
materials applications and design, Experience in bridge design
