Senior Manager (Underwriting):
The incumbent is principally responsible for assisting the Assistant General Manager in ensuring clients / brokers requirements are addressed expediently within deadlines, be they specific or implied, liaison with brokers, agents and direct clients, ensuring insurances are properly presented to the client and the client is made aware of any pertinent or significant policy conditions, exclusions or warranties, arrange facultative placements with reinsurers, preparation of premium budgets and projections, management of the business development team, monitoring of premium receivables, preparation and submission of various returns to the concerned authorities, auditing of motor third party insurance stationery, management of the claims department to ensure statutory compliance, recovery of reinsurance on claims, and relevant day to day functions

Qualifications:
The candidate should be graduate in arts, commerce or equivalent qualification with a minimum of ten years experience as an underwriter in a General Insurance company, of which at least three years should be as manager. COP or ACM qualification would be an added advantage.
