Earth Angels is filling 6 Volunteer Environmental Mentor/Teaching
Positions for 2 Biodiversity Field Trips to take place from 8:30 am to
3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 19 in Bowmanville, and on Thursday, May 21 in
Pickering. We are looking for volunteers who ar
e post-secondary
students or graduates who are environmental enthusiasts and would like
to help teach the elementary school children about ecosystems. Earth
Angels provides the teaching manuals, on-site training, and hosts and
supervises these events. Earth Angels also provides both written and
verbal references for the participants.
Build your teaching and environmental experience for your resume, and
play a significant role in teaching the elementary school children
about the environment.
Earth Angels designed these Biodiversity Field Trips in order to give
elementary school children from grades 2 through 4 the opportunity to
study and learn about their local ecosystems from within the
ecosystems. Through this study and exploration they will better
understand the food chains and chain reactions of their environmental
footprint.
Environmental Earth Angels is a registered environmental charity that
has been providing in-class and outdoor environmental programs to
youth across the province for 20 years. These programs are actively
reducing pollution, tackling climate change, and teaching the children
about the impact of their environmental footprint.
