The Team
Strategically,
the firm has a firm focus on growth across their property, commercial and
infrastructure team.

group works across a variety of areas including rural property (including
leasing), tenures, water rights, stamp duty and vegetation management and is
aligned closely with the national corporate team. The Partner is the national
head of the practice and has been involved in some of Australia’s largest and
most complex rural transactions in the cotton, feed lotting & pastoral
industries.

team also acts for many international Agribusinesses and inbound investors,
including from China, Singapore and the United States, in their investments in
agriculture in Australia.

The Role
Whilst
the predominant focus of this role will be in the agribusiness space, the
successful candidate may well come from a strong commercial property background
and have an interest or desire to specialise in this area of the law.

The
successful candidate must have a proven ability to build strong relationships
with clients and provide high quality client outcomes. In order to be
successful in this role you will require drive and initiative, exceptional
attention to detail, strong drafting and analytical skills and have the ability
to assist and mentor junior lawyers.
