Downer EDI Limited was awarded a six year contract with Fortescue Metals Group Limited (Fortescue) in 2010, for the provision of mining services at its Christmas Creek operation in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The Christmas Creek contract is one of the largest mining services contracts of its type in Australia, generating more than 650 jobs.
We are currently seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators (with a Minimum of 6 months experience within a Mining environment) to operate our Dump trucks from 777 up to MT4400 & MT4000 trucks.
These roles will be for an immediate start.
About you
• Experience operating Caterpillar, Komatsu, or Terex/ Bucyrus equipment.(Min of 6 months)
• Strong background working on large open cut mining equipment.
• Safety focus with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes.

These positions will be on a 2/1 roster FIFO from Darwin or Perth
