What it takes:
• Are you concerned about wilderness and wilderness preservation?
• Are you outgoing, positive, and dedicated?
• Can you talk to people about the opportunities and threats facing Manitoba’s natural areas?
Knowledge of the Wilderness Committee’s mandate and campaigns is an asset but is not required. Full training will be provided. Full-time hours in Winnipeg are Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with a minimum commitment of 3 shifts per week. Canvassing builds communication skills, and environmental work helps everyone’s future. Make a difference in your community and earn a guaranteed $10 to $15 per hour, with incentives for exemplary performers.
The Wilderness Committee believes in action. We’ve had a hand in protecting over 50 major wilderness areas in Canada, including millions of hectares of critical wildlife habitat. Come do your part for our wilderness.
