This research work will be carried out
in Uguno Orogun community. The community is located in Ughelli North Local
Government Area of Delta State. The community is bounded in the North by Abbi, in
the East by Abraka, in the South by Kokori and in the West by Agbarha. The occupation
of the inhabitants is farming. The people of Uguno Orogun community are mostly Christian,
although there are also some people who practice African Traditional Religion.
The community is made up of 10 quarters which are; Otorho, Ozuoka, Otorhorogba,
Ovara, Umusi, Eboh, Emonu, Trhobaro, Idjerhe and Igbuku. Their indigenous language
is Urhobo. The population of Uguno Orogun community according to Census 2006
is 6,031 persons.
