Key Duties
The Department of Planning, Transport a
nd Infrastructure are seeking to appoint
experienced and motivated individuals to the roles of Works Delivery
Coordinator. The roles coordinate and manage large project and works programs
and associated contractor, project teams and risks in the development and
provision of total facilities management services across multiple government
agencies in accordance with the Across Government Facilities Management
Arrangements (AGFMA). The roles coordinate technical and procedural matters in
order to deliver expert building advice and ensure all works are undertaken in
accordance with Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, government policy and
relevant legislation. The ability to review the business for efficiency and
effectiveness of processes and the possession of sound project management,
procurement and administration skills are required. While a trade qualification
is not essential, an awareness of the roles trades undertake will be well
regarded.
Essential Qualifications
A current drivers licence is essential.

Conditions
This role has been classified as a position of trust. The incumbent is subject
to a satisfactory criminal history/record check in line with departmental
policies and procedures. Some work outside normal hours and inter/intrastate
travel involving overnight absences may be required. The location of the
roles may be metropolitan or country based, dependent upon business
requirements.
