1.TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE TECHNICIAN
1.1.Job Summary
De Beers is looking for energetic individuals who are
keen to learn the diamond business. Successful candidates will participate in a
newly developed Accelerated Development Programme. This uniquely designed on
and off the job training programme, created to provide you with the experience
and exposure necessary to grow and develop
in the diamond industry.
After successful completion of the programme, you
will be responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and efficiency of the
technical sorting and weighing technologies utilized by the company
1.2.Education / Experience
•A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic
Engineering or equivalent
•A minimum of 2 years experience in
telecommunications, security systems, electronics servicing, electromechanics
or other related field.
•A sound understanding of electronic,
electromechanical, optical, computing, pneumatic and mechanical principles and practices
is critical.
1.3.Key Competencies

•Production and manufacturing experience

2.DRIVER (Class : REF:DR02)
2.1.Job Summary
Providing messenger and transportation services to
De Beers staff and visitors
2.2.Education /Qualifications & Experience
•O’level or equivalent
•Valid driver’s license
•Previous related experience in the provision of
driving and messenger services in a high paced environment its essential
•Experience in provision of chauffeur services to
senior management is essential
•Defensive driving training would be an added
advantage
2.3.Key Competencies
•Adherence to safety driving standards/practices
•Strong problem identification and reporting skills
•Fluent in English and Setswana
•Good computer literacy in MS Word and MS Excel
•Strong time management skills
•Ability to assess and prioritize tasks
