Datamonitor is pleased to establish a graduate programme that will kick start your career in Research & Analysis. This flagship programme has been developed in our Financial Services business unit, that will see you develop a range of fundamental research skills such as modelling, forecasting and developing solid primary and secondary research methodologies that will set you up to grow your career in research.
Working in a team environment, we have 5 new opportunities for graduates wanting to gain a grounding in research across Consumer Financial Services markets, from credit cards and general insurance to private banking. Excellent on the job training as well as formalised training will be provided to develop your report writing and excel modelling skills, but applicants who apply should already have an inquisitive mind and strong academic qualifications, eager to gain the commercial skills and experience in providing meaningful research.
The successful candidate will have:
•Degree level or equivalent in any discipline
•An interest in and willingness to specialise in consumer financial services
•Proven research skills
•Strong numerical ability
•Good written English
•The ability to interpret and integrate data and information to develop a clear, logical and conclusive story
•A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•The ability to manage own time and workload effectively
•European and Asian language skills would be an advantage but not essential
