4.3.1 above shows that 56.7% of the respondents agreed that they are aware that
the consumption of land snails has several health benefits while 43.3 of the
respondents disagreed. 41.1% of the respondents agreed that they know that know
that land snail is a rich source of protein while 58.9% of the respondents
disagreed. Also, 24.4% of the respondents agreed that consumption of land snail
can help in reducing protein-energy malnutrition while 75.6% of the respondents
disagreed.
4.3.1 above shows that 56.7% of the respondents agreed that they are aware that

respondents disagreed. 41.1% of the respondents agreed that they know that know

Based
on the analysis above, it can be agreed that a good percentage of the people of
Okpokunou believed that the consumption of land snails have nutritional
benefits but many of the people in the community cannot specifically state how
they can benefit from its consumption.

Based
on the analysis above, it can be concluded that it is a very challenging task
to bridge the knowledge gap on the benefits of land snail consumption among
people of Okpokunou Community. During the research I also found out by
investigations that those who do not consume land snail in the community have a
very strong ancestral belief that stopped them from its consumption.
