Hudson currently seeks data/M.I analysts to contribute to a high-profile programme of work at a major F.S organisation. The role(s) will offer the successful applicant fulfilling and sustainable long term career opportunities. In this role, you will play a key part in creating operational efficiencies through systems and process redesign. Hudson has six exciting opportunities both fixed term and permanent. A strong candidate will satisfy the criteria stated below:
• Experience working in a data warehousing or M.I environment ideally within the financial services sector
• Good knowledge of Operational Banking Systems
• Knowledge of Finance, Risk or Treasury is a distinct advantage
• Understanding of data structures/system transformation
• Excellent communication skills; ability to manage multiple business stakeholders
Key role responsibilities:
• Work in the Mapping Design workstream in Data Transformation, building an Extract/Transform/Load System between Operational systems to target Finance, Risk and Treasury applications
• Undertake a detailed level of analysis on Operational systems and obtain a high degree of expertise in the systems in a structured and methodical manner.
• Undertake mappings from source to target data attributes, including derivation logic in a series of workshops with Subject Matter Experts from Finance, Risk, Treasury, Technology and Operations.
• Support Build and Test of the ETL tool (Extract Transform Load – the means of extracting data from a system, and the logic to transform the data to a format demanded by the target application. The role is to capture the logic from Business experts and through analysis of the data.)
• Responsibility for driving the resolution of Mapping Issues
• Mapping specifications.
• Source system analysis documentation.
• Working in a large team aligned to a particular Release.
