INVITATION FOR CONTRACTORS TO TENDER FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) CONDITIONAL GRANT SCHEME PROGRAMMES AND PROJECTS 2018

The Cross River State Government is fully committed to the improvement of service delivery towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the target year 2030. As part of the collaboration with the Federal Government to execute special projects under the 2018 Conditional Grants Scheme, the Project Support Unit of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Social Welfare is inviting contractors to tender for projects as follows:

CRITERIA /GUIDELINES FOR TENDER FOR THE SDGS-CGS 2018 PROJECTS

• Completion of Tender form.
• Evidence of incorporation or business name registration.
• Registration with Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence Department in the relevant category.
• Company Profile.
• Company Audited Account for the past three (3) years (2016, 2017, & 2018).
• Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the past three (3) years (2016, 2017, & 2018).
• Evidence of PAYE tax payment by the company staff.
• Evidence of Financial Capability and Bank Support
• Experiences/Technical Qualification and experiences of key personnel. (Company’s Resume/Profile including details of key professional staff strength to be deployed to render services).
• Similar projects executed and evidence of knowledge of the service required.
• Equipment and Technology Capacity.
• Proof of joint ventures/alliances/partnerships (if applicable).
• Valued Added Tax (VAT Certificate and evidence of past VAT remittances.
• Evidence of Registration with relevant Professional Regulating Bodies and current payment of professional fees.
• Evidence of Business Premises Registration.

Companies (Limited Liability anti-Enterprises) can obtain and complete the Tender Form from the PSU on payment of NON REFUNDABLE sum of N20,000 (twenty thousand naira) only to Cross River State Account No. 5900008849, Heritage BANK Plc, Calabar.

SUBMISSION
Completed documents (Forms) must be signed and submitted or delivered to the address within 4 weeks (28) from the date of this publication (27 November, 2019) in a sealed envelope not later than 12:00 noon. The submission should be clearly marked TO TENDER FOR SDGs-CGS 2018 PROJECTS” to the PSU unit (address is indicated below). The project area of interest should be indicated at the top right hand corner of the envelope e.g. Construction of Solar Powered Borehole (with treatment plan), or supply of hospital equipment, as the case may be.

NOTE:
(a)   This advertisement should not be misconstrued as a commitment on the part of Cross River State SDGs Office nor shall it entitle companies to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the SDGs Office or the State Government;
(b)     The State SDGs-CGS Committee reserves the right to verify any claim(s);
(c)      The PSU shall consider all submission after 12:00 noon invalid in line with the state procurement law.
