Description
The
objective of the five year project (“MERIT”) is to support Malawi Government’s
aim to increase the reading skills of 5.58 million primary school students in
Malawi by focusing resources, encouraging innovation, and striving to meet the
global need for improved access to a quality education over the life of the
five year strategy, through: (a) improving reading instruction in the primary
grades; (b) increasing parental and community support for student reading; and,
finally, (c) improving the policy environment for reading. Creative is looking
to assemble a strong team whose combined skills and experience can achieve
these goals. Creative is currently seeking candidates for the Reading
Instruction and Teacher Training Specialist position.

At least three years of technical experience in teacher training programming

Significant (at least two years) experience in designing and coordinating
trainings in technical areas relevant to MERIT, demonstrated ability to
