This leading renewable energy consultancy needs project managers now to assist in major power engineering projects, local experience desirable.
Our client provides energy and water solutions for hydropower and renewable energy, dams, catchment management, environment and power engineering in the Asia-Pacific region. With a 100 year history, and assets worth almost $5Billion they are a major force within Australia.
We are seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to provide expertise in the delivery of consulting projects, tender bids and to provide professional advice on project management associated with the pre-feasibility, feasibility, design, construction and on-going operations.
As the successful Project Manager, you will be liaising with clients, focusing on project scope, budget and time controls, managing quality, project risk and staffing requirements in a consulting services environment. You will provide technical direction and leadership in power transmission, hydropower or renewable energy projects.
You will have:
• Tertiary qualifications with a civil, electrical or mechanical focus or extensive experience in a similar role
• Experience with PMBOK project management methodologies.
• A strong client focus
• Experienced in technical and commercial management of contracts and the ability to negotiate effectively
• Well developed written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to write concise reports, run meetings and presentations
• Well developed computer skills including MSOffice, Project and Changepoint
• Experience in technical and commercial management of contracts
