Connexus
is seeking a Lead Finance Facilitator for the USAID-funded Private-Sector
Driven Agricultural Growth (PSD-AG) program under the Feed the Future
Initiative. The program aims to increase smallholderincomes and improve
nutrition by promoting private sector investments, both internationally
anddomestically, and connecting smallholders to markets in order to transform
the Rwandan agricultural sector. The project will workwith the Government of
Rwanda toincrease private sectorinvestment and facilitateincreased private
sector investment in upgrading agricultural value chains while creating market
opportunities to increase smallholder income.

TASKS

Identify and make contact with key informants and key stakeholders in various
value chains

Identify finance and investment opportunities utilizing partnerships with key
value chain actors and strategies for connecting smallholders tomarkets

Develop relationships with local and international financial institutions and
investors

Work with financial institutions and value chain actors to design financial

Develop, package and market a pipeline of project related investment
opportunities, in coordination with project partners including the Rwanda

QUALIFICATIONS
·
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in economic
growth/trade, value chain competitiveness, investment promotion, or
agricultural development

Demonstrated success in implementing programs aimed at increasing access to

Demonstrated knowledge of the latest developments in advancing good/best
practices in value chain development that reacheswomen, youth, the poor and
