Intern Editor / Assistant Editor
East
Responsibilities:
  • In this key position, you will be
    responsible for most of the company’s publications and editorial
    projects. Your job scope will include client servicing, managing the
    day-to-day production of editorial content, overseeing production
    processes, developing new ideas and content for confirmed projects as
    well as government project sales pitches, supervising layout and
    production schedules, etc.
  • We are looking for someone with experience
    as a writer or editor in a print environment, excellent judgement on
    story selection and proven management skills, who is decisive and
    comfortable in leading a team. However, fresh graduates who are
    driven, committed to learning and developing new skills, and up for a
    challenge are also welcome.
  • It would be preferable if you can start
    immediately or on short notice. Do note that shortlisted applicants
    are required to sit for a writing/editing test prior to an actual
    interview.
Requirements:
  • An independent, self-motivated individual
    (preferably on the outgoing/outspoken side) who also has the bigger
    picture in mind and is a team player
  • Someone hardworking, fast, resourceful,
    creative and committed, who understands the need to put in extra hours
    where needed to meet deadlines
  • Confident and persuasive communications
    ability, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work comfortably with
    colleagues (mainly designers), clients and vendors at all levels of
    seniority
  • Excellent command of the English language
    and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
    simultaneously, strength of mind and character, adaptability and resilience
  • A strong desire to consistently better our
    range of products and an ability to deliver to product specification
  • A degree in a relevant or related subject
    (if your degree is not directly relevant, you will need to have had
    related experience)
  • Singaporeans
    and PRs strongly preferred
