The Commonwealth Secretariat is
seeking pro
posals for a consultancy to undertake support to the Government of
Uganda (GoU) through the Uganda Export Promotion Board (UEPB) to design
Uganda’s 2nd National Export Strategy (NES) 2015-2019. The terms of reference
(TOR) for the consultancy are attached herewith.
The proposal should show how you
would carry out this consultancy to meet the specific objectives set out in the
TOR. The proposal should also provide details of the personnel to be assigned
to the assignment, including their professional qualifications and specific
experience. It should include a short statement of your team’s relevant
expertise and experience in undertaking similar evaluation studies.
In submitting the proposal, you
should be aware that the Commonwealth Secretariat has a policy on gender issues
and consultancy firms are encouraged to include women consultants in their
teams.
The Secretariat has estimated the
resources required to deliver the outputs as approximately 80 consultant days
over the period March to October 2015. Included in your proposal should be:
- Technical approach and methodology proposed to undertake
activities outlined in the scope of work (Not more than 8 pages). - Proposed work plan and milestones.
- Proposed budget with all costs clearly broken down.
- Detailed CVs of the proposed team members.
- A breakdown of tasks and responsibilities between the
team members.
We are requesting several
organisations to submit proposals. The Commonwealth Secretariat is not obliged
to accept the lowest value, or indeed any tender.
Please note this consultancy is
open only to citizens of Commonwealth member countries or organisations
registered in a Commonwealth country.
