This role will see
you working in our Licensee Standards team in Advice Licensee Services. You
will work in a dynamic team that is passionate about quality advice and
assisting advisers with tools, processes and guidance that facilitate this in a
practical way.
Reporting to the
Senior Manager, Licensee Standards you will be responsible for contributing to
the three core functions of the team:
- Writing
and producing Licensee Standards – this includes liaising with other SME’s
and stakeholders to identify and agree on an appropriate position, taking
into account the regulatory requirements and risk appetite of the Licensee - Responding
to queries on the Licensee Standards content and advice process via a
dedicated phone and email service - Development,
rollout and delivery of training on these matters to assist the advisers
in understanding their obligations and practical application.
With your Licensee
Standard team colleagues, you will have an opportunity to create an environment
that promotes understanding and practical application of Licensee Standards for
Advisers. You will provide a valuable support function to the Licensees in
ensuring their representatives operate in a in a “safe-to-speak up”
culture, provide customers with quality advice and maintain high professional
standards.

To be a strong a
candidate for this role, you need to have:
- Degree
in Finance, Business, Commerce or a related discipline from a recognised
Australian tertiary institution or international equivalent - Solid
experience working in a Financial Services Advice, Compliance or Audit
role that has been exposed to the Financial Advice Process - A
thorough understanding of the regulatory environment and challenges within
the advice industry - Strong
stakeholder engagement and relationship skills - Advanced
organisation & time management skills - Experience
in the development and delivery of group presentations/workshops is
preferred - Excellent
communication and inter-personal skills, including ability to provide
constructive feedback
