Number of Masters Holders required: 3
Applicants must possess the following requirements:
I. PhD
- A PhD in Environmental Health Sciences or its
Equivalent - A Masters or a Bachelors Degree with a
background in Environmental Health Sciences - A minimum of two years working experience in
Environmental Health area or teaching Environmental Health Officers’
Diploma or Degree programmes - Excellent communication skills in English.
- Having at least one publication
II. Masters
- A Masters in Environmental Health Sciences or
its equivalent - A Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health
Sciences or its equivalent - Excellent communication skills in English,
Main duties and responsibilities
- Provide theoretical training of students from
the first to the last year of Environmental Health Sciences at University
of Rwanda - Train, assess and evaluate Environmental
Health Officers trainee’s during field training. - Carry out operational research and conduct
outreach activities and develop the capacity of students to do the same. - Work with the Head of Department to plan and
monitor the implementation of the Environmental Health Sciences curriculum
and review it when necessary. - Accomplish other tasks assigned by the Head of
Department
