cement per year PPC Ltd from South Africa has recently acquired a 51%
shareholding in CIMERWA Ltd. The company operates a wet process technology
plant in Muganza Sector, Rusizi District in Western Province. As part of its
expansion plans the company is investing in a latest technology integrated
plant with an installed capacity of 600,000 tons per annum. This additional
capacity will cater for the country’s growing demand for cement, and that of
the region.

Qualification
and Experience

- Recognised
degree in Marketing or any other related fields - Drivers
license (Class B) is required - 10
Years relevant experience of marketing and distribution in manufacturing
or construction industry - At
least 5 years experience in customers relationship management in Cement
industry - Understanding
and knowledge of the Cement markets nationally and regionally would be
advantageous.
Other requirements:
- Strong
commercial awareness and strong client liaison skills - Extensive
understanding of the manufacturing industry - Flexibility
and a talent for negotiation and connection - Excellent
leadership skills - Excellent
planning and management skills - Excellent
interpersonnel skills - Ability
to consistently perform under pressure - Passion
for excellence in his/her work - Must
have experience of sales, marketing, branding and distribution on the East
African region; - Ability
to effectively liaise and build relationships with various stakeholders; - Excellent
leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills; - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills; - Ability
to work under tight deadlines and pressure; - Good
ICT and reporting skills; - English
and French Proficiency (Read; Write; Speak); - Kinyarwanda
and Swahili would be advantageous
