Overview:
CO-OPERATIVE INSURANCE COMPANY -CIC Africa Uganda Limited is a joint venture of
CIC Insurance Group Kenya, and the Co-operative movement in Uganda. CIC is now
fully incorporated and licensed to transact General and Life Insurance
business.
The Company has two
subsidiaries; CIC
General Insurance Company Ltd and CIC Africa Life Assurance
Company Ltd. The two subsidiaries transact General and Life assurance business
respectively.
Position Summary:
Sell CIC Africa
Uganda General Business Products.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
1. Assess customer
needs and advise clients on insurance coverage options and pricing.
2. Provide
quotations as guided by the company
3. Collect/ gather
industry knowledge and provide critical market feedback to your supervisor
regarding local competition and service needs.
4. Renewal follow up
for customer retention
5. Ensure accurate
and timely capture of all customer information.
6. Any other duty as
may be assigned to you
Academic
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
or Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Management and Business Administration
is preferable
Professional
Qualifications
• Certificate of
Proficiency (COP)
• Additional
qualifications in insurance, marketing and/or social/community work an added
advantage
• A Diploma in
Cooperatives is also an added advantage
Relevant Work
Experience
• At least 2 years
in insurance sales or 3 years sales experience in other fields.

and presentation skills
