Clip International
is seeking a Program Associate to support the implementation of Economic
Strengthening activities that mainly include quality reporting, cooperative
development program that CHF implements and back office support on MIS for the
village savings groups internally referred to as Internal Savings and Lending
Groups (ISLG´s)

Main
Responsibilities
The ES
Program Associate will specifically be responsible for the following:
Research,
Analysis and Technical Writing:
- Assist
team in comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis for all
reports including but not limited to: field assessments, quarterly, semi
-annual and annual reports for the cooperative and economic strengthening
initiatives; - Compilation
and writing of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the Economic
Strengthening team. This will include close coordination with all members
of the teams and coordination with the monitoring and evaluation staff; - Responsible
for assisting both Cooperative and ES team leads in compilation and
support to knowledge management for the purposes of promoting best
practices and sharing lessons learned throughout the organization.
Economic
Strengthening Logistics:
- Support
to ongoing data collection, compilation and co-management of a large
portfolio of savings and lending groups requiring a high level of
attention to detail and analysis; - Coordination
and Support for all events, meetings and trainings with Rwandan Partner
Organizations; - Support
team in logistical arrangements for field work related to assessments,
capacity building programs and all ES/Cooperative related interventions - Maintenance
of a document filing system for both team program; interventions,
including but not limited to training manuals, handbooks, contracts,
Moils, etc.; - Participate
in meetings, record meetings for internal stakeholders and prepare briefs
when requested.
Planning:
- Support
on compilation of the ES weekly and monthly plans, prepare weekly meetings
minutes and sharing with ES team; - Manage
a team calendar of field visit plans, major deliverables and leave plans;
Communications:
- Maintain
database for communication and support of all Rwanda Partnering
Organizations, Volunteers, and Cooperatives who work with the
ES/Cooperative teams. - Facilitate/provide
support in communication with all partners as needed, including liaising
with program representatives in Washington, DC
Qualifications:
- University
degree in Economics, Management, Social Sciences or any other related
discipline. Advanced degree preferred - A
minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience - Excellent
writing skills in English and knowledge - Ability
to provide detailed analysis and written reports in English which require
little to no proof reading and supervision by management; - Demonstrated
ability to provide data analysis and strategic input on program
activities; - Ability
to proof read written documents and assist members of Cooperative and ES
teams in report writing; - Demonstrated
knowledge of and experience organizational management, strategic planning,
project management or other relevant areas - High
level of professionalism; - Success
working in a fast-paced environment under deadline, with demonstrated
ability to juggle multiple and competing demands and establish priorities,
to remain flexible, and to work both independently and collaboratively as
part of a team. Ability to effectively cultivate and manage relationships
both with internal staff and Rwandan partners and cooperatives. - Demonstrated
proficiency using MSWord, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
