Providing leadership and direction in implementing the College’s overall
Resource Mobilisation and Investments strategy and implementation frameworks,
Providing backgr
ound research and analysis of potential and viable resource
mobilisation and investment opportunities for the college, Identifying and
carrying out various resource mobilisation and investment projects for the
college, Coordinating alumni programs as a way of identifying funding
opportunities for the College, Advising on capital structures of new and
existing projects, Developing winning resource mobilisation and investment
proposals to various funders, Developing effective high value strategic corporate
alliances, Marketing the College to potential donors and funding agencies,
Assisting and guiding the Resource mobilisation Officers in the development of
current fundraising channels, looking for new opportunities to increase income
and investment portfolio for the College, Negotiating
partner relationships with corporations, foundations and individuals who may
potentially become major donors to the College
At least a relevant masters degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration,
Public Administration, Law, Enterpreneurship, Humanities and Education or any
relevant field, Those with PhD in the relevant field will have an added
advantage, A thorough understanding and appreciation of national,
regional and international trends in financing of tertiary education, A
thorough knowledge of the working environment and financial challenges
Chancellor College faces and the ability to exploit its potential to overcome
these challenges, A team worker with the proven experience to write winning
proposals and positively market Chancellor College to potential donors, Proven
ability to attract funding from various sources, Wide degree of creativity,
latitude and ability to achieve performance targets, Proven ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, Dynamic, self
motivated, go getter and be able to work independently, At least 5 yrs
relevant post qualification work experience
Remuneration is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and ability to
attract funding
