Calgary
Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is the primary sexual violence service
provider for Calgary and surrounding areas. We are looking for an enthusiastic
and well organized individual with good communication skills to be part of our
dynamic organization. This individual will provide administrative support to
our Community Engagement and Volunteer Program (CEVP) ensuring effective and
efficient operations.

dynamic organization. This individual will provide administrative support to
our Community Engagement and Volunteer Program (CEVP) ensuring effective and
efficient operations.
This part-time (9-14hrs/week) flexible position would be
ideal for someone who is available to work days, evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities of the Community
Engagement and Volunteer Program Administrator include:

- Assisting
the CEVP Coordinator with the recruitment, screening and training of CCASA
Volunteers - Co-facilitating
basic education sessions within the Volunteer Training Program on topics
such as agency orientation, data entry and documentation - Volunteer
newsletter updates - Providing
administrative support to the CEVP (i.e. shift scheduling, file
management, data entry, etc.) - Assisting
with coverage of the Support and Information Line evenings and weekends
The
successful applicant will have the following qualifications:

- A
willingness to learn crisis intervention skills as well as an
understanding and comfort with issues related to sexual violence - Possess
an anti-oppressive/feminist analysis of sexual violence - Exceptional
organization skills, attention to detail and time management - Strong
communication and interpersonal skills - Proven
ability to work creatively and collaboratively within a team environment - Flexible
schedule
