Cardno currently has a new opportunity for a Civil
Engineer/Project Manager to join our team in expanding our presence in the
Gympie area. This role will be responsible for servicing the local market with
engineering consulting services as well as building Cardno’s presence in the
region through commercial business development.

Specifically, your duties will include –
- The provision of accurate and efficient
engineering design services for existing clients in the region in
accordance with project times and budgets - Managing key projects from start to finish in
line with project specifications - Building and managing client relationships
through effective and commercially astute business development - Liaising with other Business Units within the
division for project delivery - Ensuring technical work and design
calculations are of a high standard
To be successful you will display –
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
or similar - Extensive experience within a civil
infrastructure environment (ideally within the Gympie region) - Strong business development and client
relationship skills - Acute communications skills to liaise with the
team, senior management and external stakeholders to produce commercial,
client focused outcomes - Business acumen to financially manage your own
projects - An enthusiasm and drive to contribute to the
growth and development of the team
