CARANA
is recruiting qualified candidates for the USAID-funded Rwanda Private Sector
Driven Agricultural Growth Project. This anticipated 5-year activity intends to
increase smallholder incomes by agriculture investment project in Rwanda, as
part of the larger Feed the Future Initiative. The project aims to promote
private sector investments – internationally and domestically – that contribute
to the Government of Rwanda’s Vision 2020 aim of transforming agriculture into
a market-oriented, competitive, and high-value sector.

Duties:
- Conduct
Investor’s Survey (qualitative and quantitative) on investor’s needs and
investment constraints/inhibitors. - Training
of RDB (Rwanda Development Board), MINAGRI (Ministry of Agriculture and
Animal Resources), NAEB (National Agricultural Export Development Board),
RAB (Rwanda Agriculture Board) and the President’s Office staff on FDI
Promotion Best practices (Investment generation, servicing, facilitation
and investment climate); - Develop
a robust RDB’s Marketing Intelligence Unit, Investors Information System
(IIS) and CRM System.
Qualifications:
- FDI
expert. - Experienced
in: 1. Training: Investment generation, investment servicing and
facilitation and aftercare. 2. Implementation of IP Investment generation
strategies, Market Intelligence Unit, and Internet Information Services
(IIS); - MBA
or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or relevant field; - Preference
will be given to Rwandan citizens.
