CA Global: Africa Positions has a client that is in need of a Regional Sales Manager. The position is based in Rwanda.
Our client would prefer to recruit citizens from Rwanda.
Overview:
• Visit customers, local project developers (public and private), OEMs, integrators, to ensure thorough understanding of the commercial opportunities in the territory, feeding such information into the company’s market intelligence
• Create and own a local project list, manage key account relationships & build new customer relationships to originate deals.
• Provide needed information on resources required to understand customer needs & requirements (.e.g., pre-sales project definition and scoping)
• Track original customer CTQs throughout PTO process to ensure actualization of customer goals
• Create project enablers by qualifying in-market capabilities (e.g. EPC partners), supporting feasibility assessment (e.g., USTDA/USAID) and advising on project structure (w/ capital markets)
• Drive aggressive growth targets in all markets: metric targets will address volume, mix (penetration) and timing
• Develop new channels-to-market in the region: expand sales coverage & reach, increase speed-to-market to uncover pre-RFQ projects & non-traditional opportunities
• Leverage business units and product portfolios to develop and sell “One GE” solution to customers. Drive enterprise selling across GE Africa.
• Work closely with P&L sales and functional teams in owning local growth targets & translating “white space” ideas to bankable projects
• Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific markets, key GE verticals.
• Execute convertible orders OP for the year in compliance with laws of countries and the company business practices
Requirements:
Education : Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Engineering and relevant business majors.
Soft skills : Strong interpersonal skills, ability to be able to work and maneuver in slight organizational ambiguities
Fluent in English
Work authorization for Angola
High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools
Experience : Excellent commercial instincts, minimum 5 years industrial or commercial experience with 3 years Leadership roles in Regional Sales.
