BRD
Insurance Brokerage (BIB Ltd)
is a subsidiary of Rwanda Development Bank (BRD), with a share capital of RwF
350,000,000. BIB Ltd was incorporated on 22nd
March 2013. Its Head office is located in BRD premises in Kigali,
on Boulevard de la Revolution, Postal Office Box 4870 Kigali.
BIB Ltd would like
to recruit one (1) suitable qualified staff to the job of accounting as
detailed below:
Position: Accountant
Duties
and Responsibilities
- To
perform the accounting function in the company; - To
prepare the payments; - To
ensure that transactions are properly supported by authentic documents ; - To
prepare journal vouchers for posting all transactions - To
prepare daily bank reconciliation statements; - To
verify, settling of debtors & creditors accounts and propose
corrections if necessary as well as to perform the recovery activities. - To
reconcile accounts with other related statements produced by other units
of the company. - Preparation
of financial statements; - To
carry out assets inventory of the company
Job
requirements
- Degree
in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent, - ACCA or
CPA Certificate is an advantage; - Must be
a Rwandan by nationality, - Must be
aged 35 maximum - Proven
minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the field of Banking or
Insurance Sector or other related area ; - Excellent
computer knowledge (Ms Office), and any finance software - An
excellent communication skill, in English or French and Kinyarwanda,
knowledge of three languages is an added advantage.
