RwandaFilm.org Location Recruiter Project
Coordinator
The non-profit organization Bpeace, seeks to hire
a Location Recruiter Project Coordinator to increase the number location postings on RwandaFilm.org.
RwandaFilm.org is an online marketplace where
international filmmakers can source Rwanda film locations and hire local crew. The objective is to create jobs and location rental fees for Rwandans.
For international filmmakers to bring their
business to Rwanda, they need to see that there are many diverse filming locations. The Location Recruiter Project Coordinator is critical to the goal of showcasing Rwanda locations on RwandaFilm.org
The Location Recruiter Project Coordinator will
be responsible for adding 50 locations on the site by October 15, and an additional 30 to 50 locations by November 15. Currently there are only three locations on the RwandaFilm.org, which you can see here: www.rwandafilm.org/rwanda-today/search-locations/
This is a two-month paid consultancy. There are
no benefits.
Responsibilities include:
Register key locations on RwandaFilm.org.
Examples include: restaurants, hotels, historical sites, government buildings, landmarks, schools, or other venues that are suitable for international filmmakers to use as film locations.
Each posting must include a photo, description,
and name and email for the person at each location who is responsible for deciding if a filmmaker can rent the location.
Register at least 40 sites in Kigali.
Register at least 15 sites each in Butare,
Musanze and Kibuye.
Manage budget.
Hire and manage interns if necessary to ensure
posting of 80 to 100 locations.
Budget
Base Project Coordinator fee of $200 to be paid
in two installments: $100 at beginning and another $100 when 80 locations have been registered.
An additional $5 for each location registered,
for a total of $400 to $500.
$250 for any travel expenses and interns the
Project Coordinator hires.
Total budget: $950. Any interns the Project
Coordinator hires will be paid from this budget.
Monitoring
The Project Coordinator will send weekly reports
to BpeaceHQ.
BpeaceHQ will review each location in real time
as it is registered on RwandaFilm.org.
BpeaceHQ will send comments, as needed, to
Project Coordinator for edits on location postings.
